Ron gardens in Pembrokeshire and is famous especially for his onion production. Ron has won the National Vegetable Society class for onions under 250 grams as well as getting the best exhibit in the RHS Autumn show. Commenting on the Onions grown by Ron, National Vegetable Society President, Medwyn Williams said, ‘The overall quality of Ron's exhibit this year was as near faultless as anything that I have seen for a number of years and would have come very close to getting the maximum points from me’.
Ron first saw the Haygrove Garden Tunnel at the 2009 Malvern Autumn Show and comments:
‘It’s the best Garden Tunnel I have ever seen! The side venting system which is stitched into the plastic and opens the complete length of the Tunnel is fantastic. It is especially important to have the ability to open the vents and have the insect nets incorporated to keep out the pests. It is also the strongest Tunnel I have seen.’
